HYROX US 2025/26 — Ticket Policy Cheat Sheet

Some of the HYROX ticket rules can be confusing, so here's a quick reference for athletes & supporters.

The info here was last checked on August 2025 — please always verify on your event page!

Ticket Types (Athletes)

• Standard (Non-Flex): No refunds, no name changes, no transfers to other events.
• Flex Add-On (Flex-Ticket): Enables returns within set windows (see below). Still no transfers to other events.
• Charity Tickets:
• Without Flex → treated like Standard.
• With Flex → follows normal Flex rules, plus limited name-change options.

Returns (Flex-Ticket Only)

• 100% refund of Ticket + Add-ons (Flex fee is non-refundable) until 7 days before your race, 07:59 a.m. local time.
• 50% refund from 7 days out until 07:59 a.m. the day before your race.
• After that: no returns allowed.

Name Changes

• Allowed if you have:
• A Flex-Ticket (Doubles/Relay)
• A Flex-Charity Ticket (Single/Doubles)
• → Deadline: 07:59 a.m. the day before the race.
• Not allowed for:
• Standard (Non-Flex) tickets
• Single-division Flex-Tickets (use return option instead).

Transfers

• Not permitted between events, regardless of ticket type.
• Choose your city and date carefully before booking.

Spectator Tickets

• Supporters need tickets — purchase via the official event page.
• Some venues sell on-site (often debit-only).
• Children under 12: free entry with an adult.
• Spectator tickets: no Flex, no returns or changes.

Age, Waivers & Check-In

• Minimum age: 16+ to compete.
• Under 18: parent/guardian waiver must be uploaded at least 22 days before the event.
• Bring both your personalized ticket (QR/barcode) and a photo ID to check-in.

Fees & Payment

• Expect an additional ~7% service fee at checkout.
• Payment options usually include major cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

If HYROX Postpones or Cancels

• Postponed: your registration automatically moves to the new date.
• Cancelled: you'll be offered a free rebooking in the same or next season — or a refund if no option is available.

What to Click (Step-by-Step)

A) Request a Return (Flex-Ticket Only)

1. Open your order confirmation or customer account → Manage/Modify Booking.

2. Select Return/Refund (tool shows if you're in the 100% or 50% window).

3. Confirm. You'll receive an email confirmation. Refund is issued to your original payment method (Flex fee excluded).

B) Change a Name (Doubles/Relay Flex or Flex-Charity)

1. Go to Manage/Modify Booking → Name Change.

2. Enter the new participant's details (update teammate if Doubles/Relay).

3. Submit. Both parties receive updated tickets.

→ Deadline: 07:59 a.m. the day before race.

C) Buy Spectator Tickets

1. Visit your event's official HYROX page → Spectator Tickets.

2. Purchase online and personalize each ticket.

3. Save the QR code to your phone wallet for entry.

Quick Tips

• If plans might change, buy Flex at registration.
• Add reminders:
• “100% refund until 7 days out (07:59 a.m.) → 50% refund until day-before 07:59 a.m.”
• Athlete wristbands allow entry only on your race day — other days need a spectator ticket.
• For minors, upload parent/guardian waiver well before the 22-day cutoff.
